Unitec Key lock for trailer coupling

The cartrend key lock for the trailer hitch addresses a problem that DIY tradesmen and professional tradesmen know only too well. Often, the vehicle and trailer are not located on a fenced plot, but on freely accessible public roads and squares. It does not matter whether the trailer is loaded or empty. Without a suitable security, a few handles are sufficient and the trailer can unlawfully change the owner. The cartrend key lock prevents this, because it secures or closes the trailer with only one rotation over one of the two keys included in the delivery. But how does such a trailer coupling with lock work exactly? It's so easy. If the coupling is not secured, it can be raised and the ball knob of the trailer coupling is activated. The trailer can therefore be separated from the vehicle. On the side of the lever there is a recess in which the key lock can be inserted. The lock is locked with the key, causing the lever to stop operating and therefore the clutch to stop opening.
