User & Safety Instructions 1924496 Victron Energy BP-100 48V-100A Battery monitor
Description
The battery protect disconnects the battery from the less important consumers, before you fully discharged (whereby it has been damaged) or before you no longer have enough energy to start the engine.
Easy programming
The battery protect can be set in such a way that in several different voltages turns on or off. The seven segment display shows then which setting has been selected.
A special setting for lithium-ion batteries
In this mode, the battery protect through the VE. Bus BMS control.
Extremely low power consumption.
This is important in the case of lithium-ion batteries, especially after the switch-off due to a low voltage levels.
Overvoltage protection
So that sensitive consumers, not through a surge may be damaged, the load is switched off when the DC voltage of 64 V exceeds the value.
Explosion protection
No relay but MOSFET-switch and thus no sparks.
Output for delayed alarm
The alarm output is activated when the battery voltage more than 12 seconds under the preset value to turn off. The turning on of the motor is activated the alarm is not. The alarm output is a short circuit protected open collector output which is connected to the negative (negative) rail. Max. current 50 mA The alarm output is usually used to an acoustic signal, an LED or a relay to activate.
Load cut-off and re-connection delay
The load is 90 seconds after activation of the alarm is switched off. Increases the battery voltage within this period (for example, after the engine is started) again until the threshold to connect to, the load is not
Switched off. The load is 30 seconds after the battery voltage has exceeded the set voltage value to reconnect, re-connected.
