Description

The 852-1328 is an industrial, configurable ETHERNET switch, with 6 ports 10/100/1000BASE-T and 2 ports SFP-1000BASE-SX/LX (SFP modules are optionally available). Data encryption according to IEEE802.1AE (MAC security standard) is performed when communicating via the SFP slots (ports 7 and 8). Due to this functionality and the small dimensions, this product is suitable for retrofitting the network security during operation of the automation system. The customer application remains unchanged. The optional authentication of the other nodes in the network is carried out port-specific according to IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS server. The switch has a robust housing and a redundant power supply.
