Hi-X driver technology
No compromises have been made in terms of sound. The Hi-X15 uses the award-winning Hi-X series driver. The development of Hi-X technology is the result of decades of experience and state-of-the-art technology.

By reducing all the moving masses, the Hi-X15 offers impressive dynamic properties and a fast response behavior. The 44 mm Hi-X driver with its lively transients covers every sound shading. Distortion-free playback down to the lowest frequencies enables a linear and natural reproduction of the bass without having to dazzle through the increase.

All this is independant of the player thanks to the impedance of 25 Ohm. The Hi-X15 always delivers the highest possible performance, no matter whether high-end headphone amplifier, reference AD converter, analogueue mixer, keyboard, Portable player or laptop. Important decisions in the work process can thus always be made in a sound and precise manner.

The workhorse...
The closed Hi-X15 headphones are the workhorse of the award-winning Austrian Audio Hi-X series. ...for daily use
The Hi-X15 is the headphone you come to when you need reliable sound and know it could be a little rough. For this reason, the ergonomics of the headphones are designed in such a way that they are comfortable to sit even after many hours. The ear cushions are made of soft memory foam and fit perfectly to the shape of the head without pressing. The ear cushions are interchangeable so that the confidence gained in the Hi-X15 can last for a long time.
