The HYDROSTIK PRO cartridge is equipped with an aluminum alloy material housing and an AB2 alloy for hydrogen absorption.
After activation, the AB2 alloy is able to absorb hydrogen, expand and heat up to saturation. The internal pressure of the fully charged cartridge remains at 30 bar (435 PSI) at ambient temperatures from 20°C to 25°C and the weight is approximately 0.9 grams higher. As soon as the cartridge valve is opened and the pressure is reduced, hydrogen is continuously released from the alloy, which absorbs heat.
