The block's bearing flange is so precisely turned that a secure hold is achieved by gently pressing in the ball bearing. Alongside use as an axle and shaft support, the bearing block is also very good for gearbox installation: When using a precise sequence (depending on the centre distance needed), gearboxes of a wide range of dimensions can be produced.
