Description
Hydra motor capacitors with pressure relief switch
MKP-Si technology series 500
Safety:
Capacitors may fail under extreme operating conditions or after reaching their service life. Hydra motor capacitors are manufactured with a built-in pressure cut-off switch. In the
Breakdown occurs in the capacitor due to gas formation and temperature rise, a pressure increase occurs. This causes a housing extension of up to 9 mm by stretching the folding seam and thus
An interruption of the feed line at the predetermined breaking point.
The capacitor is safely disconnected from the mains.
Hydra capacitors are certified by the VDE testing and certification institute and meet the requirements of safety class P2 according to EN 60252.
Installation:
Hydra motor capacitors can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
In order to ensure proper triggering of the overpressure tear-off protection by the longitudinal expansion of the capacitor housing, a minimum distance of approx. 12 mm from the connection to neighboring components must be observed.
Assembly:
Metalized polypropylene
Aluminum housing with/without metal bolts
Environmentally friendly filler (vegetable oil)
