Description

Used in structured cabling systems. Conforms to the Cat 5e network standard and is Ideal suitable for use in interiors, fast Ethernet, voice, data, video and multimedia applications. This is currently the most common and fundamental method of cable construction, consisting of twisted pair wires.
There is no shielding, instead the symmetrical twisting of the wires generates a symmetrical transmission line that helps to reduce electrical noise and EMI.
Lanview Cat5e unshielded PVC-cables are manufactured and tested according to the standards ISO/IEC 11801, EIA/TIA 568B and EN50173-2. Each cable consists of 4x2 color-coded PE-insulated wires.
