Description

The ProSafe Plus switches optimise the traffic in your network by enabling port as well as tag-based prioritisation. In this way the traffic that cannot wait gets preference over the less critical traffic packets. The switch masters the so-called IGMP v3 snooping. This function is necessary for distributing the IPTV data (multicast) via this switch in such a way that there are no disturbing hangers at the TV-set, in case other network devices generate traffic at the same time.
The VLAN-technology of the switches enhances the security and enables managing the domain collisions.
The ProSafe Plus switches offer you an excellent cost-benefit ratio and enable a network management at a professional level.
