User & Safety Instructions 2636189 PL-FGW Eltako Wireless Gateway Flush mount

Description

Bidirectional. 53x43 mm, 40mm deep, for installation in 58 mm switch boxes. Standby loss 1.1 watt. Supply voltage 230 V. Power consumption in operation 1.1 watt. Powerline telegrams imported into the gateway from the power grid are automatically translated and sent into Eltako radio telegrams. Radio telegrams programmed into the gateway are translated into Powerline telegrams and modulated to the power grid. By pressing the reset button, the PL-FGW is set to the learning mode. The rotary switches are used to select whether radio or Powerline telegrams should be programmed in. A teach-in Powerline sensor is automatically assigned a free radio channel by operating in learning mode. Up to 80 Powerline sensors or feedback can be taught in. A taught-in radio sensor is assigned the function as universal, direction or central button via the slide switch of the PL-FGW. The rotary switches g and e are used to set the Powerline address that the radio sensor should address in the future. Along with radio-controlled sensors the Eltako-wireless sensors like window contacts and motion detectors can also be taught-in. Even control functions of the GFVS for dimmer, heating and roller shutter control are possible. It is automatically converted into appropriate useful Powerline telegrams for PL actuators. Up to 100 different wireless sensors can be programmed in. All entries and configurations can also be accessed via the mains network using the Sienna Professional software. Other functions that are not available through direct teaching via rotary switches can then be selected here. In addition, the gateway can be set in learning and deleting mode so that even a manual learn-in can be done without direct access to the device. The PL-FGW also serves as a relay station for communication between the temperature controllers PL-SAMTEMP and EnOcean actuators FKS-MD1 and FKS-E. Up to 20 actuators and PL-SAMTEMP are managed here.
