Description

The Altivar ATS490 soft starter is designed to gently start and stop asynchronous motors from 208 to 690V. With an efficiency of 99.5%, special application functions and complete monitoring with data reporting the ATS490 enables an advanced motor control. Certified cyber security, Safe Torque Off, and health monitoring capabilities increase uptime, reduce operating costs, and simplify project planning. The ATS490 provides comprehensive system monitoring, including the engine, application, power and energy, with an accuracy of over 95%. The ATS490 has a native Ethernet port for Modbus TCP or Ethernet/IP and a serial Modbus port. The Altivar ATS490 soft starter meets the requirements of applications such as pumps, fans, compressors, conveyor belts, mixers, Cutting machines, grinding machines and crushers. ATS490 conforms to IEC/EN 60947-4-2 and certifications cULus, UKCA, RCM, CCC, EAC and DNV.
