User & Safety Instructions 993064 Telegärtner 100023273 Connection Box Compatible with: CAT 7a

Description

The connection box is used as a connection or extension of commercially available shielded or unshielded twisted pair installation cables (CAT 5e, CAT 6, CAT 7) for damaged cables, cable extensions and cable replacements. Thus, the cables segments of structured cabling do not need to be installed new. This reduces the changing time and costs to a minimum. One incoming and one outgoing 8-wire cable can be connected without substantial impairment of the transmission characteristics and limitation of the maximum link lengths fixed. The installation is done with the help of a LSA-punch down tool.

Features

Connection via LSA-plus terminals on a common circuit board
Colour coding according to EIA/TIA 568A and B
Connection of 4-pair shielded/unshielded installation cable from AWG 24-22
Pairs can be performed up to the terminal while maintaining the twisted pairs
Reliable shield contact with screws directly onto the circuit board
Variable cable routing
Strain relief by inclded cable ties
Tool-free mounting of stainless steel shielding cap
Grounding system directly on the PCB (M4 screw)
EMC-safe according to EN 61000-6-1 and 61000-6-2
Wall housing made of steel sheet, powder coated light grey RAL 7035
Variable cable routing from below and above/ left and right / from the same direction
