The VOLTCRAFT ET-500 insulation tester extends the options of the ET-series on test voltages up to 5000 V and an insulation resistance of up to 5 TΩ. This powerful instrument is designed for in-depth diagnosis in high-voltage environments and offers highest security in accordance with CAT IV 600 V.

Extended high-voltage test range
With five selectable voltage levels (250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V and 5000 V), the device covers an extremely wide range of applications. The voltage can be flexibly adjusted in 10 % steps, WAS permits a point-exact testing of sensitive insulation systems.

Precise diagnosis by PI and DAR
The device is optimized for automated PI and DAR tests, which gives information about the aging status and the humidity content of the insulation. This is supplemented by an automatic leakage current display and capacity measurement up to 15 µF.

Large format display and memory
The 12.95 cm large LCD-display provides for an excellent readability of all parameters. Series of measurements with up to 999 data sets can be saved directly in the device and subsequently exported via USB for PC-supported logging.

Security and comfort
The unit is equipped with an automatic discharge function and an optical high-voltage alarm. Thanks to the lithium-batteries included in the delivery and the carry strap the ET-500 is also best equipped for long-time use in the field.
