Features

RTPS 008 S MS Chisel-tip 0.8 X 0.3 mmMIL-SPEC (IPC - TM-650 2.5.33)Tool compatibilityFor use with the intelligent soldering iron WXMPS MS and the soldering station WxsmartPerfect for all Pico applications with very small component sizes Intelligent high-performance peaks for working on the smallest components under the microscope: 0402 to 01005 (XS to S)Extremely fast heating time in just 3 seconds:The active tip technology (cartridge) from Weller provides for an optimized heat transfer with a maximum power of 40 W at 12 V. The extremely fast heating-up time of 5 seconds provides an excellent heat transfer and recovery time during the soldering process for a continuous work flow at high power. The short distance between the tip and handle ensures maximum precision during soldering.Maximum precisionShort distance from tip to handle and optimized tip shape ensure maximum precision during soldering.Wide assortment of tips for each application:More than 40 intelligent universal solder tip shapes and sizes, which can be connected to a single soldering iron, without the need for additional tools.Unique identification of intelligent soldering tipsThe Weller WXsmart soldering station automatically identifies each RTPS soldering tip (cartridge)Complete process control with solder tip locking functionLocked parameters at the soldering tip enable a complete process control and prevent errors in the soldering processFull traceability with solder tip ID number and built-in data storage:Every intelligent soldering tip has an individual serial number for a unique detection. The integrated data storage provides for a complete traceability of the calibration history.Accurate data results with soldering tip offset function:With the help of the soldering tip offset function you can change the reference point of the sensor easily. Simply supplement the measured position offset value and the zero point of the sensor is converted and reset. The soldering tip offset offers a simple way to obtain the best results and achieve the highest accuracy.Fast, safe and simple soldering tip change: Despite hot temperatures, the patented intelligent soldering tips (cartridge) from Weller can be changed quickly without the need for additional tools.Maximum protectionThe RTPS MS, RTMS and RTUS MS smart soldering tips fully comply with the IPC industry standards (IPC-TM-650 2.5.33 metering of electrical overvoltage when soldering hand tools) and are MIL-SPEC compliant. This provides maximum protection for printed circuit boards and components, providing excellent results and keeping operating costs low.
