Description

Resistant metal adhesive tape for high security in long-term applications. The 3M™ metal adhesive tape 425 made of robust soft aluminum and resistant acrylate adhesive is ideal for long-term use under high load. It has even been able to meet the high demands of automotive and aircraft construction. Its resistance to solvents and chemicals, moisture, heat and UV rays ensure long functionality. This guarantees high process reliability and results in direct cost savings. Especially its high temperature resistance of –55 °C to +155 °C makes the aluminum adhesive tape universally applicable. Thus it can be used for the installation of cooling and heating elements. Moreover, due to its low permeability of water vapor and/or moisture, it is perfectly suitable for sealing purposes.
