Bright ideas are brought to life with HDRThe Asus ProArt display PA32UCR-K is a 32-inch 4K HDR monitor designed for sophisticated content creators such as videographers, cameramen and colorists. Peak brightness of 1,000 nits and mini-LED-background lighting, which enables 576 zones of the local dimming control and support for several HDR-formats, with Quantum-Dot technology, support for DCI-P3, REC. 709, REC. With 2020 and Adobe RGB color rooms as well as a large selection of connection options the ProArt display PA32UCR-K delivers an extraordinary picture, which lifts the viewing experience to a new level.Unbelievably detailed graphicsMini LED backlight technology uses smaller LEDs that provide three times the number of LEDs compared to a standard panel of similar size. The densely packed mini-LEDs enable a higher granularity and brightness. Furthermore, individual backlighting control over amazing 576 zones increases luminance and deep-dark colors to ensure unsurpassed contrast and accurate reproduction of HDR content.Deeper blacks, brighter whitesA top brightness of 1000 nits provides for an excellent contrast between the deepest black and radiant white and hence for a rich and natural viewing experience.Asus Smart HDR technologyThanks to the exclusive Asus Smart HDR technology, the ProArt Display PA32UCR-K supports several HDR formats such as HLG and HDR-10.With HLG, users can view and create materials for radio and satellite TV platforms such as BBC iPlayer, Japan NHK TV and DirecTV.HDR-10 support ensures compatibility with existing video streaming services and a growing list of HDR-enabled games.Multiple PQ curvesAsus ProArt displays support multiple HDR-10 waveforms, including PQ Hard Clip, PQ Optimized, and PQ Basic, which can meet all content creation requirements.HDR previewHDR Preview enables a direct connection from the camera to the monitor to display recorded HDR content with its full tonal range. It also works with most video editing software platforms and provides accurate simulations of final output for easier and more efficient editing.Change the viewing experienceThe IPS-screen with wide viewing angle and 1,000 nits peak brightness, which supports the Quantum dot technology, offers a complete color spectrum, with which you can work. Supports 98% DCI-P3, 99.5% Adobe RGB, 100% sRGB, 100% REC. 709 and 87% Rec..2020 color spaces for video editing and post production.Industry-leading color fidelityFactory pre-calibration using a new three-scale process guarantees industry-leading color fidelity. The display is also subjected to rigorous testing using Asus's advanced grayscale tracking technology to < ensure smoother color gradations, enhanced uniformity and exceptional color accuracy with a Delta E (ΔE) 1 color difference for the sRGB and Adobe RGB color spaces. Each level of gray is also carefully measured and adjusted to ensure compliance with the exact DICOM standard.Saved color parameter profilesAsus ProArt Calibration technology stores all color parameter profiles on the ProArt monitor's internal scaler IC chip, not on the PC. The saved profiles can be activated easily via the hotkey on the monitor. The monitor can be calibrated and the look-up table can then be rewritten so that the user can connect it to devices with different operating systems or applications without having to adjust the settings. The signal distortion between the IC and the optical spectrum of the LCD is also reduced.ProArt calibration 2.0Built-in Asus ProArt Calibration 2.0 allows quick and easy adjustments to maintain the color accuracy of Asus ProArt monitors. It offers SDR and HDR calibration with adjustable brightness, color range, color temperature and other parameters to ensure consistent and precise colors. In addition, ProArt Calibration 2.0 can recalibrate any circumferential color mode and write it back to any ProArt preset mode.Seamless calibrationProArt displays are compatible with most popular calibrators, including X-Rite, Datacolor and Klein. They also work seamlessly with Calman and Light Illusion ColorSpace CMS* professional hardware calibration software, enabling quick and easy calibration.Multitude connectivity optionsHDMI (v2.0) x 3, DisplayPort 1.2, Full Function USB-C and a USB hub enable convenient connections to a desktop, a Blu-ray player, a control panel or an additional display without problems. The integrated USB-C connection supports data transfers, DisplayPort signals and a power supply of 80 W.Picture-by-picture (PbP) modeView two to four different settings at the same time by placing multiple input sources side by side on the screen, and configure the color settings for each individual window using sRGB, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, REC. 2020, User Mode 1, or User Mode 2.Picture-in-picture (PiP) modeSimply place your second input source in a window in a corner of the display.Ergonomic designWith the Asus ProArt display, a convenient viewing position is always easy to reach. The ergonomic base with height adjustment, inclination, rotation and swivel adjustment enables a comfortable viewing and use. The ability to rotate the screen 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise to use it in portrait orientation is useful when working with long documents, encoding, or surfing websites. Moreover, the VESA wall bracket can be mounted on the desk in a space-saving way.Protection for your eyesAsus flicker-free technology provides for a more pleasant viewing experience by reducing the flicker of the screen to avoid eye strain, headaches and fatigue symptoms that can occur when sitting in front of the screen for hours.
