Description

With the APS-7000E series, GW Instek is launching the Economy version of the programmable AC source APS-7000. At a height of 2HE, the maximum nominal power for APS-7050E is 500 VA, 310 Vrms, 4.2 Arms. The output frequency range of the series is 45~500Hz. The series is Ideal for testing and development of DC power supply units, consumer electronics, automotive electronics and electronic components.

The APS-7000E series includes six measurement and test functions (Vrms, IRMS, F, Ipk, W, PF) and provides a user interface similar to that of the AC Power Meter. The APS-7000E series is Ideal suitable for the LED industry and for standby mode, as it switches many current level sets to increase the resolution of current measurement. Ten preset sets allow the user to save ten settings.

To meet the test criteria of the mains voltage fluctuations that are common in consumer electronics, the APS-7000E series not only offers a stable AC source, but also the test mode to meet specific or abnormal voltage and frequency variation requirements. Ten sets of test mode simulate power failure, voltage rise and voltage drop. The APS-7000E series, which simulates the waveforms of transient changes to the urban grid, is suitable for testing electronic products operated under an abnormal power source.

Features

Programmable linear AC power supply.
Two panel modes: Standard mode and single mode. The default mode combines settings and the display of the AC Power Meter measurement window. Users use the function key (F1~F3) to select the desired measured values. There are six positions to choose from. In the simple mode all the variables are displayed.
The test mode can quickly produce different simulated transient input waveforms, such as power failure, voltage rise and voltage drop, etc., so that engineers can evaluate the effects of transient phenomena on the test object. For example, capacitor endurance test.
