Kern OCM 165 OCM 165 Transmission microscope 100 x Transmitted light

The OCM series is characterized by its ergonomic, robust and extra stable design. This design, with its very large working distance, is particularly suitable for the observation and analysis of cell cultures, for example. A strong and continuously adjustable 30W halogen lighting provides for an optimum illumination in the light field of your preparation. As a fluorescence microscope, an OSRAM 100W HBO epi fluorescent tube unit is also available for perfect illumination and stimulation of your fluorescent preparations. A special Abbe-N.A.-0.3 condenser with aperture and large working distance of 72 mm ensures optimal working in the light field, phase contrast and in fluorescence applications. The OCM series is equipped with a trinocular tube as standard. The mechanical object table including the object holder (Ø 118 mm) enables fast and effective working. Additional brackets for culture bowls are included in the delivery or available as accessories. Additional options such as a selection of eyepieces, lenses, object holders and other phase contrast units can be integrated as accessories. A dust cover and operating instructions are included in the delivery. Application area: Research and breeding of cell and tissue cultures. Applications/samples: In particular, consideration of preparations in culture vessels (bottles, trays, microplates), translucent and thin, low-contrast, Sophisticated preparations (e.g. living mammalian cells, tissues, possibly also microorganisms, immunofluorescence, FISH, DAPI Staining, etc.).
