Description
The 1 Watt M-Fibre RGB LED module is specifically designed for use with M-Fibre side light fibers. The inside of the LED module mixes a mixing lens varying in diameter the light of the individual RGB LED chips in such a way that a constant color impression over the length of the side light fibers is ensured. When defining the thermal management and dimensioning of the heat sink, the life of the LED was given highest priority. When connected to a suitable plug socket, the coded ribbon cable provides optimum electrical connection. The modules can be fastened on a flat surface with two screws using mounting holes in the housing. The ferrule of the side light fiber is clipped into the half-shell geometry of the LED module and held in position by the securing clip even with the strongest vibrations.
