Renkforce RF-5173670 Fibreglass FO Cable 2.00 m Orange [1x LC plug - 1x LC plug] 50/125 µ Multimode OM2

Light waves as the latest industry standard – data transmission with many advantages Unlike copper cables, FO cables are much less suceptible to adverse conditions. FO doesn't interfere with electronic devices. The low attenuation of FO cables allows for long-distance transmissions.Highest transmission range and speedWith fiber optic cables, you can not only achieve multiple gigabit speeds of copper cables, but also transmission distances of 100 km and more. Highest level data protectionA signal transmitted by light wave cannot be received remotely, but only physically through the fiber itself This feature makes it the most attractive transmission medium for authorities, banks and other institutions with sensitive data. Highest security against electromagnetic influencesFiber optic cables do not contain any metal and are therefore ideal for installation in areas with electromagnetic interference (EMI). These include near power lines, areas with high risk of lightning strikes, or near railway tracks.LC plugThe Lampert Connectior (LC) is the most widely used plug type in the fiber-optic cable sector. It is mainly used because of its compact design, since it resembles the RJ15 components used in copper technology. The LC plug has a ferrule diameter of 1.25 mm and impresses with an insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB.Reliable data transfer - Multimode OM2Fiber optic cables for Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet are classified as fiber optic cables, similar to the class specifications of copper cables. The core size used for OM2 is 50 microns (μm). It supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet at lengths of up to 82 meters, but is more commonly used for 1 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Like OM1 patch cable, this type also uses an LED light source.Duplex cableDuplex refers to the use of two channels. Duplex cables are mainly used in access networks and use the two wires for sending and receiving.
