Highly accurate high-quality desktop multimeter with a 40.000 counts (4 3/4) display enabling TrueRMS AC and DC readings, and voltage testing up to 35kHz. The device features an impedance selector button that reduces the input resistance preventing inaccurate measurement caused by stray voltage. An optically isolated USB interface and the included Voltsoft sotware allow the easy and safe transfer of readings to a PC for further analysis. 1000 V fuses, reading range autoselection and the numerous built-in safety features enable CAT II 600V measurements. The VC650BT comes with a battery and a mains supply option. The large backlit display ensures excellent readability in low-light conditions. The internal memory stores up to 1000 readings. Additional features are temperature reading, reference measurement, duty cycle reading and a 1 kHz low pass filter.

Accurate TRMS readings
True RMS measurement enables reading of asymmetrical voltage and amperage with wave forms other than a sinus. Asymmetric voltages are ver common in various types of dimmers, speed limiters, synchonised switches, pulse-type chargers, or scale model speed controllers. Which means that in these cases conventional meters displaying average readings are prone to large measurement errors.
