Long life of the carrier thanks to low wear
This self-clamping grinding disc is the better alternative to ordinary abrasive sheets and convinces with a much higher service life. It is extremely suitable even at low contact pressure for deburring, trimming, rust removal, smoothing and for welding seam working. Due to its multi-layer sanding lining, this grinding disc is always as sharp as in the first use: When the top fins wear, fresh sanding lining of the underlying slats is exposed. This ensures a long service life and a constant quality of work. Due to the self-sharpening effect of the zirconium oxide, combined with a high hardness and sharpness of the grinding grain, this tool achieves high deposits and a long service life especially on hard and tough materials such as stainless steel. The back of the grinding plate is provided with a "quick-release fastener" consisting of a plastic thread as for a abrasive sheet. The plate is simply attached to the corresponding carrier (GTR) with a short turn. Additional installation tool is not needed and the flame disc is centered automatically. Due to its low wear and tear, the carrier is also significantly longer in comparison to adhesion systems with Velcro hooks or adhesive surfaces.
