Description
Rubber pads are used to mount the machine and components flexibly and isolate the vibrations. The vibrational behaviour depends on the spring deflection of the rubber pads. If the load reduces, the pads compress less and therefore allow more vibration to pass (they apparently become "harder"). For this reason, the pads should be chosen so that the compress about 3.5 mm under load.
