Description

Sound steam locomotive BR 62 DR IV, including PIKO sound decoder and steam generator
New feature 2026: The BR 62 was the result of the efforts of the State Railroad Administration to develop a series of unit locomotives for different uses. Based on the never-built BR 20, a two-cylinder hot-steam tender locomotive with the axle arrangement 2’C2” was developed. The company Henschel won the contract for the construction of the machines, which delivered a total of 15 locomotives in 1928. The DRG initially took over only the 62 001 and 002 and deployed them in the Ruhr area. The remaining 13 machines were only commissioned in 1932. Design of the German National Railways in the epoch IV. With realistic sound and many functions. Ex-factory with evaporator.
