Plössl 12mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece. These special-purpose eyepieces include reticle with etched crossline patterns, internally red-illuminated so that the lines are clearly visible against a dark sky. This eyepiece is 31.7mm(1.25") O.D. The most advanced commercially-available illuminated reticle eyepiece. This Plössl 12mm model greatly facilitate locking onto the guide star. This multi-coated Plössl 4-element optical system offers a sharp and high-power imaging. The upper (lens) section of the eyepiece rotates on a fine thread for precise diopter adjustment to the users eye. Reticle pattern is a double crossline with adjustable red LED illumination powered by batteries (2 x AG5/LR41 coin battery included).
