Description
The F404T is an AC/DC High Measurement Tool specially developed for working on photovoltaic systems. It enables reliable verification of the absence of DC current in module strings and thus provides the basis for safe working before any intervention at the system. The most important feature: Thanks to the patented auto-check function, the meter can automatically test the functionality before performing the actual current free testing.
When a string is opened that permanently carries direct current, there is a risk of an arc that could endanger people and cause serious damage to property. An incorrectly configured or faulty standard clamp-on ammeter can incorrectly indicate zero current and thus represent an additional source of risk. The F404T meets this risk with a built-in self-test function, which confirms proper operation of the pliers in three easy steps before each test.
