GW Instek PEL-503-80-50 Electrical load 700 W

The PEL-500 Series single channel electronic load comprises a total of 5 models and offers voltage operating ranges of 0~80V/ 0~500V and a power operating range of 250~700W. The series can be used for research and development, quality control, ATE system and production testing, including voltage source/power source testing; transient response of the switched-mode power supply; constant voltage mode for current limitation testing; battery emulation; And battery discharge test. The PEL-500 series offers a 5-digit digital display of voltage, current and power. Users can simultaneously monitor the measured data of the test sample. To help users assess whether the DUT can withstand the transient current, the PEL-500 series offers a surge test that can simulate the boot transient current and transient current during hot-plugging. The built-in battery discharge test function can determine the conditions for stopping the discharge according to the DUT test requirements, including setting the discharge stop voltage (Vbatt), the discharge capacity (AH, WH) and the stop discharge time.

Users can set the PEL-500 Series charge/discharge voltage for testing according to the characteristics of the test specimen. When the output voltage of the DUT increases to the charging voltage value, charging starts. When the output voltage drops to the discharge voltage, charging ends. Users can use the GO/NG function to pre-set the assessment conditions according to the function and specifications of the DUT. The PEL-500 Series automatically generates the assessment results according to the assessment conditions set during the test. Among the safety test requirements of the power supply, the PEL-500 series not only offers the short test function, but also offers the automatic test function of the overcurrent protection/overcurrent protection, in order to simplify the complicated manual operation of the user and to check the OCP/OPP of the test sample's action points. The generated measurement results help the user to confirm whether the actual operating intervention points of the test object for OCP/OPP are within the measurement specifications. In addition to the function of providing the oscilloscope with load current waveforms via the BNC output of Imonitor, the PEL-500 series also offers over-voltage, over-current, over-current and over-temperature protection as well as reverse polarity detection. If one of them triggers a trigger action, the PEL-500 Series has protection or reminder measures to protect the PEL-500 Series from damage caused by abnormal operating ranges.
