Description

With the external USB 3.1 Type-C™ housing IB-1816 M-C 31 you can quickly and easily take a NVMe card It allows access to M.2 media of up to 2 TB, no matter with which host it. The IB-1816 M-C31 is compatible with M.2 cards of the lengths 30, 42, 60 and 80 mm, independent of operating system and for a variety of applications such as high-speed, storage, cloning a drive or running a mobile operating system.

Fast on the way
With USB 3.1 (Gen2) Type-C™ are now even greater data transfer rates. The high transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s is through the included USB 3.1 Type-C™ cable guarantees and needs only a suitable end device in the form of a PC, tablet or similar with Windows or MacOS ®.

USB type-C™ Controller on NV Me-Basis
If you wanted to have an external housing with a M.2 SSD via USB type-C™, had to be on SATA-models. The new chipset of the IB-1816 M-C31, on the other hand, makes it possible now, NVMe M.2 SSDs with a USB 3.1 (Gen2) Type-C™ host computer to connect and the full data transfer rate of up to 1000 MB per second actually potential.

Lightweight aluminum
The IB-1816 M-C31 weighs less than 40 grams and has a sleek, compact and break-proof aluminum housing, which protects against impacts and vibrations, while the heat-sink design with cooling fins with heat dissipation for an excellent cooling effect is supported and the M.2 SSD, even when doing heavy work, protects against overheating.
