Description

Scotch™ 2228
Black, made from Ethylen-Propylen-elastic gum (EPR) coated with temperature stable mastic, having execellent dielectric properties, is ozone and UV-resistant. Through its thickness of 1.65 mm, it is particularly suitable for instant installation of insulation and sealing and forms self-fusing wraping sites.
It is specially resistant against weather influences and moisture. At 80 - 100% elongation good homogeneous fusion.
Example applications:
Manufacturing of insulations upto 1 kV, cable sheath and moisture sealing in every type of cable for inner and outer areas.
