The Anybus X-gateway connects a PROFIBUS network with an EtherCAT network, enabling seamless information flow between the two networks.FAST I/O DATA TRANSFER BETWEEN TWO NETWORKSThe X-gateway is designed primarily for transmitting cyclic I/O data between the two networks and thus relieves the PLC of additional tasks. The gateway is a Master in the PROFIBUS network and a slave in the EtherCAT network. Data transfer is transparent and up to 512 bytes of I/O data can be transferred in any direction.EASY TO USE - NO PROGRAMMING REQUIREDThe connection between the two networks is configured with the "Anybus configuration manager" software.
