Description
An economical alternative to conventional circuit breakers are circuit breakers with a thermomagnetic characteristic curve of the Economy SMART version. They ensure safe triggering, even with high line resistances and are optimally suitable for the device and series machine construction. The electronic circuit breaker splits the load current into several branches and monitors them reliably for overload and short-circuit. Short-term current peaks, e.g. due to a high inrush current, allow the electronics to close, feeders with longer overload switches them off. This is ensured even on high-impedance lines and with creeping short circuits. For each output, the nominal current can be set individually with a selector switch. If the nominal current is exceeded, the output is automatically switched off after a defined tripping time and can be switched on again after a short waiting time (thermal relaxation) by means of a button or by remote reset. The button is also used for manual switching of the output. The status of the output is displayed via a multi-colored LED.
