Description
On the occasion of our 80-year anniversary, our home – the Black Forest – is moving into the focus of our model world. WAS has always inspired us, becomes especially visible for a year: The art of modeling, rooted in the Black Forest!
This detailed model was designed according to the model of the world's largest cuckoo clock in the Black Forest. The original was created in Schonacher Untertal, where watchmaker Josef Dold and his family created a unique work in two years of work – completely made of wood and with a movement of gigantic dimensions.
The model captures the special charm of this extraordinary sight: Lovingly designed details, craftsmanship and a typical Black Forest tradition. Including a figure in Black Forest costume and Bollhut, which gives the whole extra character.
A piece of black forest for home – inspired by the world's largest cuckoo clock.
