Description

MQ 2 Gas sensor module – compact solution for detecting gases & smoke
The MQ 2 module reliably detects flammable gases and smoke such as LPG, propane, butane, methane, hydrogen as well as alcohol vapors in the range 100–10,000 ppm. It offers an analogue 0–5 V output for measured value output as well as a digital switching output with adjustable threshold – Ideal for alarm and monitoring applications.
The sensor operates with 5 V and has an integrated heating circuit. Status LEDs indicate operation and recognition. The connection is made via a 4-pin header or Molex PicoBlade, whereby the module can be integrated easily in micro-controller projects.
