Description

MQ 3 Alcohol Gas Sensor – sensitive to ethanol vapors
The MQ 3 is a compact alcohol gas sensor for detecting ethanol vapors in the range of 100–10,000 ppm – Ideal for breath alcohol testers and similar applications. It offers an analogue 0–5 V output as well as a digital switching output with adjustable threshold. The operation takes place with 5 V, including integrated heating circuit for stable measurement results.
With status LEDs and 4 pin header or Molex PicoBlade connection the module can be integrated easily in micro-controller projects and embedded systems.
