Rhodius 200432 RS38 Grinding disc Stainless steel, Steel 25 pc(s)

Suitable for machines: The Rhodius RS38 is a roughing disk (form 27) for angle grinders of all power classes. Material suitability: The Rhodius RS38 has been specifically developed for the machining of stainless steel (VA steel, stainless steel), e.g. 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10 or 304), steel (black steel also called structural steel, St37, S235JR, 1.0037 or carbon steel) and cast steel. The roughing disk RS38 is excellently suitable for chamfering, for the welding seam preparation, for egalising the welds as well as for breaking the edges and for deburring. It is also suitable for surface grinding. Construction and production: The disc is manufactured in accordance with EN 12413 and is safety tested and OSA certified. Every thousand discs are tested for safety at approximately double the speed at which they are used. It contains high-quality grinding grain (aluminum oxide known as corundum) and specially tuned phenolic resin as well as an armoring made of three full-surface glass fiber fabric layers. This roughing disk thus far exceeds the legally required side load of 290 N. Quality: The user receives with the RS38 a tool that meets the high demands of quality in industry and trade. To work even more economically, Rhodius grinding discs of the quality line TOP are recommended. Application: The RS38 impresses by its high life span. Thanks to a fine grain layer, the disc has only minimal breaking-out behavior (only applies to the variant with disc width of 7 mm). Dimension: The RS38 roughing disc has a disc width of 4.0 mm or 7.0 mm and is available in diameters from 115 mm to 230 mm. Branches: This grinding disk is preferred in the locksmith's shop, in steel construction, in container and plant construction as well as in the piping construction. Note: The Rhodius grinding wheels for stainless steel are iron-free and sulfur-free. To prevent rust, however, you should never change back to stainless steel with the same grinding wheel.
