Description

The Vigilohm mobile kit is designed to monitor and identify permanent insulation faults in ungrounded/IT power grids from the main supply line to the charge level. The mobile fault detection device is 7 kg heavy, 24-hour battery autonomy, a mobile fault detection device with display, a charging and connecting cable for the corresponding probes and an on/off switch. The kit works in conjunction with one of the three special insulation monitoring probes IMDCP15, IMDCP50 and IMDCP100 and requires the signal to be provided by IM400 or XM300 CPI. One of these probes must be connected to the kit in order to be able to measure and display the resistance and capacity of the charge to be monitored. The calibration is carried out as standard from the infeed and takes 45 seconds while all other measurements are performed within 20 seconds, regardless of whether the cable is or a final load. The three available probes are designed to be versatile and allow the user to choose the best solution for their ungrounded energy supply (IT systems). The kit aims to be manageable and transportable for a variety of installations, including short or long cables, simple or complex IT earthing installations. To ensure the accuracy of the measurement, it should be noted that the IMDMFLK1 kit and probe require a signal from an IM400 or XM300 CPI. It allows monitoring of a network with a maximum capacity of 20µF at an input voltage of 1000V AC/DC when not connected to the mains, or 440V AC/DC when connected to the mains. The battery provides an autonomy of 24 hours with a charging time of 7 hours and an auxiliary voltage of 24 VDC and a consumption of 4 W. The insulation monitoring set weighs 7 kg and is 340 mm at a height of 315 mm and a width of 160 mm. The operating temperature is between -20°C and 45°C and the device tolerates up to 95% non-condensing humidity. The storage temperature is between -20°C and 60°C, and the kit is suitable for a maximum height of 3000 m. The enclosure is black, while the standard locator is gray and displays the value via an LCD display. The IMDMFLK1 is certified according to IEC61010-1, IEC61010-2 and EN61326, it is a category III device with a pollution level of 2. In order to use the kit properly, a permanent fault had to be detected by an IM400, XM300 CPI, or IFL (if present). The kit must then be calibrated at the branch where the fault was detected -40 seconds and then the subbranches can be monitored independently -20 seconds. Overall, the Vigilohm mobile fault location kit consists of three measurement circuits and the housing with the insulation fault locator. And enable the effective placement of isolation requirements regardless of the complexity of your ungrounded power supply (IT systems). This kit is suitable for short or long IT earthing networks, complex or simple networks and enables the user to manage as many exits as necessary.
