Transcend 230S 128 GB 2.5" (6.35 cm) internal SSD SATA 6 Gbps Retail TS128GSSD230S

Transcend SSD 230 SATA III 6 Gb/s SSD is based on the latest 3D NAND technology, which allows to use more memory cells by stacked on top of each other. By the exclusive use of highest quality chips and highly developed firmware algorithms guarantees the SSD 230 outstanding performance and load-carrying capacity.

3D extension knows no limits
Contrary to existing planar NAND chips enables the 3D NAND technology memory chips, in which the memory cells vertical overlap. 3D NAND was developed in order to circumvent the spatial limit of 2D planar NANDs and thus a higher performance and endurance to achieve.

Transfer speeds
Transcend SSD 230 is equipped with a DDR3 DRAM cache feature, the read/write rates at 4K blocks in "random read/write" with up to 340 MB/s. Accordingly, the SSD is ideal as a boot drive can be used and charges system and programs in just a few seconds. Thanks to the SATA III 6 Gb/s interface and the use of a SLC caches, the SSD 320 up to 560 MB/s read and 520 MB/s writing data.

Durability. Reliability
Apart from the extremely high transfer speeds, Transcend's SSD 230 thanks to a RAID-as well as a ldpc Low-Density Parity Check Engine (), an especially effective error correction algorithm, thus a high data integrity. The integrated levelling function ensures beyond for a long life of your SSD.

Energy and save time.
The SSD 230 supports the SATA device Sleep Mode (devs leep) and extends the battery life of your laptop when the SSD is not addressed. Devs leep includes an ultra-low power status and leads to more saving battery consumption, since the SATA interface completely switched off. With a remarkable response time of below 20 ms changes the computer still very quickly returns to the operating mode.

More control with SSD scope
To ensure that your SSD 230 fast, clean and error-free functioning, we offer you the possibility, the SSD Scope software completely free. With this tool, you may use the "health" with the help of the s.m.a.r.t. Technology monitor and the TRIM command in the operating system to enable an optimal writing speed of the SSD to ensure long-term. You can also, if necessary, also the firmware to the latest level of your SSD and the data in just a few clicks of the old data carrier to the new SSD migrate.

Small & Light
The SSD 220 corresponds with 2.5 inch the industry standard and is only 6,8mm flat with a weight of only 63 g. This makes the SSD for use in light notebooks, ultra-books, but also in mainstream PCs.
