GARDENA 08716-48 Axe 600 mm 1400 g Head weight 1000 g

The universal axes of GARDENA 1400 A are made by its application-optimized head and blade geometry, such as it is designed for the tracing as well as columns of hard wood, the falling of small trees and the removal of roots. The center of gravity lies close to the axt head and is well balanced and beneficial for the impact force through the correct weight distribution. In order to withstand the stresses, elements such as the head and shaft connection are naturally break-proof, so that they can always be picked up courageously.

Also the processing of large wooden slices by driving wedges of wood, plastic or aluminum wedges (no steel wedges) into the slab is easily possible with the help of the hammer surface of the universal axis. Thanks to the riveted impact protection made of stainless steel it does not damage the shaft if one hit should take it next.

The hardened, robust blade made of high-quality tool steel always gives reliable results when working with wood. This is also due to the special coating which reduces friction and thus facilitates the penetration into the wood. The coating also prevents resins from sticking so easily.

Even the handling is convincing with the glass-fiber reinforced plastic shaft. The soft components at the handle and the hook-shaped end of the handle (cow foot) contribute to safety and good haptics, since the axe lies through it comfortably and firmly in the hands without slipping out of the fingers.
