Jumo 60003232 Bang-bang Twin thermostat -20 up to 149 °C 16 A relay

Its impact-resistant housing made from high quality plastic makes the mechanical double thermostat very robust and can also be used under harsh conditions. The measurement systems used operate according to the liquid expansion principle and can be easily used at the temperature controller of 135 °C and at the safety temperature limiter of 149 °C. The smooth round sensor made of copper have a diameter of 6 mm. The probe length of the thermostat is approx. 87 mm, the safety temperature limiter is approx. 66 mm. The remote lines are also made of copper and on delivery rolled inside the housing. With consideration of a bending radius of 5 mm, the cables can be led out of the housing and laid flexibly. The protective sleeve made of nickel-plated brass included in the delivery has a diameter of 8 mm and can be mounted with a thread G 1/2 shape A according to DIN 3852/2. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing (protection type IP54) is 80 °C. The case is attached directly to the lower part of the housing as a wall mounting. With the help of a Setpoint selector, the desired shutdown temperature of temperature controller can be easily adjusted on a scale. The temperature of the safety temperature limiter can be adjusted on a scale using a screwdriver after removing the housing cover. The set temperature is visible at any time through a viewing window in the housing cover. The temperature controller has a high switching point accuracy of +/-3% in the upper scale third, and the safety temperature limiter has a switching point accuracy of +0/-5 K in the upper half of the scale. The installed temperature compensation reduces ambient temperature influences at the switching head to a minimum. A decisive advantage is that no additional power supply is required for measuring the temperature. The electrical connection is made by push-in© terminals, whereby the installation time is significantly reduced compared to conventional screw connections. The maximum permissible switching power is AC 230 Volt / 16 A. The temperature controller has a switching difference (hysteresis) of approx. 3 K and switches back to the original state automatically after falling below the switch-off temperature by this value. The switching contact of the safety temperature limiter (clamp 2) is opened when the set temperature is reached and the signal contact (clamp 4) is closed at the same time. The switch contact is locked automatically and can only be unlocked manually after the temperature at the sensor has cooled down by approx. 10 K. If the temperature at the sensor cools below -20 °C, the circuit between terminal 1 and terminal 2 also opens, but closes again when the temperature increases If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit will be opened continuously and unlocking is then no longer possible. The switch contact is in the neutral position. The thermostat can be used very flexibly and is used both in building automation as well as in heating, air-conditioning and ventilation technology. Other areas of application are the plastics industry, equipment and mechanical engineering as well as furnace construction, and temperature monitoring in laboratories and climate chambers. The device is approved according to DIN EN 14597 and DGRL and has an EAC approval.
