Jumo 60003367 Bang-bang Temperature monitor -20 up to 138 °C 16 A relay

Due to its glass-fiber reinforced polyester housing (protection type IP65), the 1-pole mechanical body thermostat with changeover contact is very robust and can also be used under harsh conditions. The measuring system used works according to the principle of liquid expansion and can be used without any problem up to a maximum admissible sensor temperature of 138 °C. The smooth round sensor made of stainless steel has a diameter of 6 mm with a probe length of approx. 65 mm. The remote control line of the thermostat is also made of stainless steel and can be laid flexibly according to a bending radius of 5 mm. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing is -40 to 40 °C in temperature class T6 or max. 70 °C in temperature class T4. The case is attached using 4 screws directly on the lower part of the housing. The desired shutdown temperature can be easily adjusted with the help of a screw driver after removing the cover on a scale. The safety temperature monitor is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of +0/-10 K in the middle of scale third. The installed temperature compensation reduces ambient temperature influences at the switching head to a minimum. A decisive advantage is that no additional power supply is required for measuring the temperature. The electrical connection is made by push-in© terminals, whereby the installation time is significantly reduced compared to conventional screw connections. The maximum permissible switching power is AC 230 Volt / 16 A. The thermostat has a switching difference (hysteresis) of approx. 7 % of the scale range and switches back to the original state automatically after this value has been undercut. If the temperature at the sensor cools below -20 °C, the circuit opens between terminal 1 and terminal 2, but closes again automatically when the temperature increases. If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit is opened continuously and the switching contact is in a neutral position. The safety temperature monitor can be used in a very flexible way and is used in all explosion-prone areas of Ex zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. The device is certified according to ATEX and suitable for the temperature class T6 in hazardous gas or dust atmospheres. The device is RoHS compliant and cadmium-free.
