Carbon monoxide, a deadly intruder in your home
In winter you like to snuggle up on the sofa and turn up the heating. Carbon monoxide is particularly dangerous. If the heat sources are not maintained correctly, carbon monoxide can be released. Carbon monoxide is a deadly gas that is not perceived by our senses. For this reason, it is especially important to install sensors that warn you in time.

Loud and clear alarm
The Smartwares FGA-13042 carbon monoxide detector has a loud and clear 85 dB alarm that sounds when the permissible carbon monoxide concentration is exceeded. The detector can be used in rooms with an area of 20 m² to 40 m². The sensor has a lifetime of 10 years and batteries are included in delivery. You will hear a short beep when the battery is almost flat. This way, you know when you need to replace them.

Easy to set up
The carbon monoxide detector is ideal when installed at the ceiling, at least 1.85 meters above the heat source. An ideal location for mounting the detector is, for example, close to the boiler or the gas stove in the kitchen.

Maintenance and testing
Dust and dirt can impair the function of the carbon monoxide detector. For this reason, the detector must be cleaned every month with a damp cloth and every six months with a vacuum cleaner. However, do not use cleaning products and do not spread the detector. In addition, the carbon monoxide detector should be tested on a monthly basis to ensure it is functioning properly.
