Description

The Wisualarm DHI-HY-GA20A-R8 is a wirelessly networked natural gas detector for the detection of methane (CHs) in interiors. The device reacts with high sensitivity to increased methane concentrations and thus supports the early detection of potential gas leaks.
When the alarm value is reached, the detector activates an acoustic and visual alarm and simultaneously informs all linked devices within the radio network.
The integrated semiconductor sensor was designed for a stable detection with low false alarm rate. The alarm is triggered by an integrated signal transmitter with a volume of 70 dB(A) at a distance of one meter.
In addition, the LED displays inform about the current operating status, detected errors and the reaching of the end-of-life of the sensor.
The device is suitable for use in apartments, restaurants, hotels and other interior spaces where methane recognition is required.
The detector can be paired with a separate Wisualert WLAN Base Station DHI-HY-GW01A and used with the Wisualarm APP. The base station serves as a central connection unit for compatible Wisualarm and WisuLink wireless products and enables the APP connection of the networked detectors. When an alarm is triggered, the detector emits an alarm signal; in addition, push notifications can be transmitted to a smartphone in combination with the base station. Up to 24 compatible WisuLink wireless products can be integrated per base station. The coupling is done via the pairing button on the gateway as well as the TEST/MUTE button on the respective detector. The base station is not included in the delivery and is available separately.
