Fleischmann 7570082 N ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE 110 504-8 DB AG

Electric locomotive 110 504-8 of the German Railways
Besides the 103 series, the 112 series in beige-red lacquer was certainly one of the most elegant features in the DB fleet of the 1970s and 1980s.
In May 1962, DB provided six E 10.1 (E 10 1239–1244) with special bogies from Henschel designed for 160 km/h to cover the Rheingold trains and the Rheinpfeil group converted to locomotive-covered fittings. When the E 10 1265–1270 originally designed for these bogies were available in autumn 1962, the E 10 1239–1244 were converted to the normal version and the E 10 1265–1270 took over these Nobel services, together with the E 10 1308–1312 delivered shortly afterwards. At the end of the 1960s, the last series of E 10.12 was followed by the 112 485–504, which were delivered with Krupp bogies designed for 160 km/h.

In November 1994, the 114 504 (ex 112 504) was numbered in 110 504 and was used in the area of Stuttgart in local traffic. With railway fans, the locomotive was a particularly often photographed drawhorse due to its special paint finish.
