Jumo 60001876 Bang-bang Twin thermostat 135 °C (max.) 10 A relay

Its impact-resistant housing with high-quality plastic cover and die-cast aluminum base makes the mechanical double thermostat very robust and can also be used under harsh conditions. The appliance consists of a temperature control and a temperature limiter (STB). Temperature setting of the thermostat is carried out on a scale with the aid of a setpoint. The desired shutdown temperature of the safety temperature limiter can be adjusted on a scale with the help of a screwdriver after the housing cover is removed. &Lt,br>,The temperature controller is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of +0/-1.5% in the upper scale third and has a switching difference (hysteresis) of about 3 to 4% of the scale range. It automatically switches back to its original status after reaching the switch-off point and after falling below the switch-off temperature by the value of the switching difference. &Lt,br>,If the temperature at the temperature sensor of the safety temperature limiter exceeds the set limit, the circuit is opened and the micro switch is mechanically locked. After the danger temperature has fallen below approx. 10% of the scale range, the micro switch of the safety temperature limiter can be unlocked manually. It is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of +0/-5% in the upper scale third. If the measuring system is destroyed, the STB circuit will remain open, and unlocking will no longer be possible. The switch contact of the safety temperature limiter is then in a neutral position. If the sensor cools to a temperature below approx. -20°C also opens the circuit of the STB, only when the temperature rises above approx. -20 °C the STB can be unlocked manually by pressing the restart button.<,br>,A decisive advantage is that no additional power supply is needed for measuring the temperature. The electrical connection is made by screw terminals directly at the micro switches in-built, which can directly switch a maximum permissible switching power of AC 230 Volt / 10 A. &Lt,br>,The measurement systems used work according to the fluid expansion principle and can be used without problems up to a maximum permissible sensor temperature of 135 °C. The smooth round sensors made of copper have a diameter of 6 mm with a probe length of approx. 125 mm for the temperature controller and 108 mm for the safety temperature limiter. Both remote control cables of the thermostat are also made of copper and can be laid flexibly under consideration of a bending radius of 5 mm. The maximum ambient temperature on the housing (protection class IP54) is 80 °C.<,br>,The thermostat is very flexible and is used in the heating, air-conditioning and ventilation technology as well as in the plastics industry, equipment and machinery as well as in furnace construction, in district heating transfer stations and for temperature monitoring in laboratories and climate chambers. The device is approved according to DIN EN 14597 and DGRL and has an EAC approval.
