Jumo 60003348 Bang-bang Frost protection thermostat -20 up to 120 °C 16 A relay

Its impact-resistant housing made from high quality plastic makes the 1-pole mechanical body thermostat with changeover contact very robust and can also be used under harsh conditions. The measuring system used can be used without any problem up to a maximum admissible sensor temperature of 120 °C. The sensor line of the thermostat is made of copper. Under consideration of a bending radius of 20 mm the cable can be laid flexibly as required. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the casing is 80 °C. For physical reasons, the ambient temperature of the casing must be 2 K above the set switching point so that the device can function properly. The case is attached directly to the lower part of the housing as a wall mounting. The desired shutdown temperature can be easily adjusted with the help of a screw driver after removing the cover on a scale. The set switch-off temperature can be viewed at any time via a window in the housing cover. The safety temperature monitor is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of + / -2 K. A decisive advantage is that no additional power supply is required for measuring the temperature. The electrical connection is made by push-in© terminals, whereby the installation time is significantly reduced compared to conventional screw connections. The maximum permissible switching power is AC 230 Volt / 16 A. If the temperature on the sensor cable falls below the set target value for a length of 30 cm, the circuit of terminals 1 - 2 is opened and the circuit of terminals 1 - 4 is closed automatically. The thermostat has a switching difference (hysteresis) of approx. 0.5 to 2.5 K and switches back to the original state automatically after the switch-off temperature has been exceeded by this value. If the temperature at the sensor cools below -20 °C, the circuit between terminal 1 and terminal 2 opens and closes again automatically if the temperature increases. If the measuring system is destroyed, the circuit is opened continuously and the switching contact is in a neutral position. The safety temperature monitor can be used very flexibly and is used both in building automation as well as in heating, air-conditioning and ventilation technology. The device possesses an EAC approval.
