Description
The Midland 18 is a modern multi-standard CB-radio set, which covers all European frequency bands. The microphone capsule has been revised and offers a full and rich voice modulation.
In addition, it is equipped with three buttons (UP, DOWN and LOCK), which permit a simple and quick channel change. The double squelch mode (manual and DS) with five configurable levels allows you to reduce the ambient noise and thus ensures a clearer reception. The receiving attenuator (RF gain), which can be adjusted to seven levels, allows to achieve a clean reception and thus avoid possible distortion due to transmission to adjacent channels. The VOX-function permits the hands-free operation and is adjustable to five levels. The multicolor LCD display (7 colors) with S-meter makes the CB 18 aesthetically pleasing and provides unique and easy to read information. Furthermore, an external loudspeaker connection is available which can be used for further amplification of the sound.
