Description

The rotary viscometer has a measurement range from 1 to 100,000 cp. The viscosity is determined by the rotary viscometer on the basis of a mechanical resistance that acts opposite to the rotational movement of a spindle. The rotary viscometer can be operated at an adjustable speed between 6 and 60 RPM. Many liquids are subjected to thermal stress and therefore change their viscosity, such as engine oils. This is exactly where the stationary viscometer is used. An immersion temperature sensor (optional) can be used to determine the temperature of a test sample during measurement between 0 and 100 °C.
