Power system module power rails for 47U racks, 2x3x16A. The modular system allows a basic configuration for each rack with a vertical carrier rail and three-phase feed. Per carrier rail a second feed is also provided, which allows to develop the system to develop. Through the vertical carrier rail, the slots can be used over the whole cabinet height and fed by the second separate redundant supply. Socket modules can be engaged in the carrier rail. Due to the touch protected structure of the power rails not all slots must be provided with socket modules Socked modules are available in different country versions, e.g. IEC mains IEC320 C13, Schuko, F/B, CH, USA, UK. All modules in the rail can be installed mixed. 8 socket modules can be installed pro 2,20 m rail. Then with IEC320 modules up to 48 slots are available. Installation according to the plug & play system: The power rails can be upgraded in all Rittal TS / PS racks with a mounting kit DK7856.011. The power supply is done via a 5-pin socket with tension clamp technology. All socket modules can be retrofitted at running operation.

Three phase structure with max. 3x16A per circuit. Two separate circuits per carrier rail. The redundant electric circuit 2 is completely potentially separated from electric circuit 1. Due to the insertion direction of the socket modules it can be selected, whether the electric circuit 1 or the redundant electric circuit 2 should be used. Modules can be upgraded during operation. Each module is available with or without integrated circuit breaker.
