Description
A built-in Bluetooth transmitter allows the user to listen to LP records wirelessly in high audio quality (thanks to aptX® and AAC codecs).
Aluminium-high pressure die casting with 3-speed belt drive
The high inertia die-cast aluminum platter is powered by a Hohem torque DC motor using a heavy-duty rubber flat belt, WAS provides extremely stable playback at 33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm.
New spindle with low resistance
A precision manufactured stainless steel spindle and a durable brass bearing ensure precise rotation speed thanks to low friction
In-built phono-EQ amplifier
The TN-400BT-X has a built-in Phono-EQ amplifier that supports MM pick-up and allows you to connect the deck to conventional amplifiers or micro systems that do not have their own record player input. The Phono-EQ amplifier uses an NJM8080 Hi-Fi operational amplifier chip (developed by JRC), which amplifies the tiny audio signal from the pick-up needle with minimal distortion.
New Subsonic filter for improved sound
By filtering out the frequencies below 18 Hz, the TN-400BT prevents that too high the NF-signal levels are sent to the amplifiers, WAS presents a simpler electrical load for the connected loudspeakers. This filter is especially effective in playing back distorted vinyl records, which would otherwise cause undesired movements of the woofer (the subsonic filter is switched off when the Phono EQ is set to THRU).
S-shaped, statically balanced pick-up arm
The S-shaped, statically balanced aluminum pick-up arm is equipped with a counterweight and an anti-skating mechanism, which enables an exact setting of the balance and tracking pressure and ensures accurate playback. A pick-up arm lifter helps reduce the pick-up arm gently to the record.
The pick-up arm can be equipped with universal headshells so that the user can change the pick-up relatively easily. To reduce signal loss between the pick-up arm and the headshell, gold-plated contact points are used to produce a genuine audio signal.
Wireless Bluetooth® audio streaming with aptX® codec
The TN-400BT-X's wireless Bluetooth® transmission system supports the higher-quality aptX® and AAC codecs in addition to the standard SBC codec. This means that even users who do not have a hi-fi system can enjoy a really high-quality vinyl playback via a headset or loudspeaker fitted with Bluetooth®.
The TN-400BT-X can be connected to Bluetooth headphones or speakers simply by pressing a button. A single function key and an associated LED display ensure simple and clear confirmation of the connection status.
Beautifully detailed
The TN-400BT-X brings elegance in the process of playing a record. The milled aluminum control buttons exude quality, while the aluminum feet, which are fixed with shock-absorbing rubber at the high-density MDF-chassis, a high rear-shock Robust MDF-socket with high density offers both vibration insulation and elegance
MM pick-up from audio-technica
The deck comes with an excellent MM pickup that can be used universally and comes with a light aluminum cantilever, which contributes to a precise, high-musical reproduction.
