Description
Area of application e.g.:small and special machines: Packaging, encompassing and wrapping machines .Food industry: kneading, cutting machines, Mixing .Laboratory: Lab mixer, steam ovens, vacuum pumps, suction mechanisms.
The CPUs are each offered in 5 different variants, with various connection and control voltages. The PPI interface built into all CPUs enables point-to-point connections to PG/PC, SIMATIC OP, expanded SIMATIC S7-200 and user-defined end devices (printer, bar code reader). With PG/PC or OP as master, a maximum of 31 SIMATIC S7-200 devices can be connected together. If additional inputs/outputs are required, a variety of different expansion modules is available. These are simply linked to the CPU through a connector.
